Session 6.3 - Case Management

Th case management module is suitable for law firms to enable then track the progress of their cases and also keep other vital records. To create a  Case you will have to first create a case type.

Case Type: Case types refer to categories of your cases. The following steps apply to  creating a new case type;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Click on 'Case Type'.
  5. Click on 'Create New'.
  6. Enter the name of the case type and click 'Create'.

Edit Case Type: This allows you to make changes a case type you have created.The following step apply to editing a case type;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Click on 'Case Type'.
  5. Search for the case type and click 'Edit'.
  6. Make the desired changes and click 'Save'.

Delete Case Type: This allows you to delete a case type that you have already created;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Click on 'Case Type'.
  5. Search for the case type and click 'Delete'.
  6. Confirm action by clicking 'ok'.

New Case: After creating the case type you can now create a new case. The following steps apply to creating a new case;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Click on 'Create New'.
  5. Fill all fields and click 'Create'.

Edit Case : This allows you to make changes a case you have created.The following steps apply to editing a case;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click 'Edit'.
  5. Make the desired changes and click 'Save'.

Delete Case: This allows you to delete a case that you have already created. The following steps apply to creating a new case;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click 'Delete'.
  5. Confirm action by clicking 'ok'.

Assign Staff to Case:  This action allows you to assign a staff to a case. The following steps apply to assigning staff to cases;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click on the case summary.
  5. Scroll down and click on 'Assign New Staff'.
  6. Select the staff and click on 'Create'.

Case Tracking: This feature enables you to know the progress of your Cases. The following steps apply to creating a new tracking record;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click on the case summary.
  5. Click on 'New Tracking'.
  6. Fill all fields and Click 'Create'.

Case Attachment: The following steps apply to creating a Case Attachment;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click on the case summary.
  5. Scroll down and click on 'New Attachment'.
  6. Fill all fields and click 'Create'.

Case Appointments:  This allows you to create appointments for your cases. The following steps apply to creating a new case appointment;

  1. Logon to www.swift.ng.
  2. Click on 'Special Modules'.
  3. Click on 'Case Management'.
  4. Search for the case and click on the case summary.
  5. Scroll down and click on 'New Appointment'.
  6. Fill all fields and click 'Create'.
